Flock

Hands pressed together with fingers pointed skyward symbolise supplication, entreaty and prayer. Prayer hands are a universal symbol of hope, and the white dove a symbol of peace. Christian disciples are referred to as a flock and God as their shepherd. Flock also means a lock of wool, and a decorative type of wallpaper made from discarded wool fluff. Perception is however interpretive, based on our own theories, concepts, experience, language and past. Thus one may see a soft, silent applause of self-adulation.
